Travel Guidelines
Essential guidance to help you journey mindfully, respectfully, and safely through the world's most extraordinary natural environments.
The Aqualume Voyages Travel Guidelines are designed to help you get the most from your journey while ensuring the natural environments and communities you visit are protected and respected. Please read these guidelines fully before your departure. Your journey concierge will also brief you on destination-specific requirements.

- Disclose all relevant medical conditions to your concierge at booking—certain experiences have medical restrictions.
- Carry a personal medical kit including any prescription medications in original packaging with sufficient supply.
- Our team has emergency medical protocols in place for all destinations. Emergency contacts are included in your Pre-Departure Pack.
3. Wildlife Interaction Guidelines
Aqualume enforces strict wildlife interaction protocols to protect animals and ecosystems:
- Never touch or feed wild animals, including marine life, unless explicitly permitted by your guide.

- Do not disturb vegetation—leave everything as you find it.
- Wear long sleeves and insect repellent in forest environments.
- Carry a personal locator beacon on remote jungle treks (provided by Aqualume).
- Do not light fires outside of designated areas. No smoking in forest environments.

- Ask permission before photographing local people—always.
- Purchase crafts and goods directly from local artisans where possible.
- Respect sacred sites and follow any access restrictions.
