Carbon Neutrality
All Aqualume journeys are fully carbon neutral. We calculate the carbon footprint of every trip element and offset through verified Gold Standard projects—then go further, targeting net negative impact by 2027.
Marine Wildlife Advocacy
We enforce strict wildlife interaction protocols across all marine experiences. We actively contribute to manta ray tagging research, whale migration studies, and sea turtle nesting protection programs.
Community Economic Empowerment
We require all partner properties to employ at least 80% local staff, source from local suppliers, and contribute to community development funds. Travel that enriches the community it enters.
Zero Single-Use Plastics
Every Aqualume partner property has committed to eliminating single-use plastics. We provide all travelers with premium reusable travel kits and refuse to work with any operation that doesn't meet our plastic standards.
